School meals: catering procurement and South West Norse support

Schools are reminded to follow appropriate procurement processes when selecting or renewing catering contracts. We have published guidance on key considerations, alongside information about the support available through South West Norse, Devon County Council’s joint venture catering partner.

            Ordinarily Available Inclusive Provision

            image.

              Thank you to the 26 respondents representing around 40 schools who took part in the OAIP evaluation. Feedback showed strong engagement, with 70% rating OAIP as very or extremely useful. Schools highlighted benefits including stronger inclusive practice, increased staff confidence and greater consistency. The OAIP audit tool was also valued for supporting reflection and continuous improvement. Your feedback will help shape future OAIP resources, CPD and implementation support across Devon.
