Dear Parent/Guardian,

We are delighted to invite you to a Progression Information and Guidance Event for parents/guardians. 

This is an opportunity to hear from our Careers Team about the advice, guidance and support on offer for your young person regarding their future. Over the next half term, your young person will be supported during Tutorials to explore their next steps, learn about the opportunities available and to consider their goals beyond College. These events are to provide you with an insight into the learning that will be taking place.  They are on 4^th February (in person) and 5^th February (online only). 

These events will offer information on:

• In college careers education and support
• Introduction to external careers support platforms
• Careers in the present and the future
• University applications
• Apprenticeships

We will send you the link to access the online event by 4 February. Please note there is limited space for the in person event. We hope these events will help you in supporting your young person with their next steps. 

Student Progress Reports will also be available mid-March. We will send you an email informing you when they are ready to view.  

Please remember you can also get in touch with your young person’s tutor at any point in the year by using the contact details found on the Parent Portal.
