Dear Parent/Guardian,

As we approach the end of this term, I am writing to you with important dates and information.

Progress Reports published Friday on Parent Portal

Your young person's latest progress reports from teachers will be published on our Parent Portal on Friday 20 December. Please log in to view the report.

If you have not already signed up to Parent Portal

If you have not yet registered for the Parent Portal, we will shortly be sending you another email separate to this one with a reminder of the unique access code that was sent to you in September. You can use this code on the registration page to set up access to our Parent Portal. Once you have access to the Portal you will be able to see information about your young person, including progress reports, attendance and their timetable.

Teaching will be online on the morning of 20 December

The College closes at 11.45am on Friday 20 December for the festive break. As so many learners travel a significant distance to us, this half day of teaching will follow their usual timetable but will be via live online lessons on Teams.

College will be open for the morning and your young person will be able to come in to access their online lessons in one of our city centre LRCs if they need or prefer to do this. LRC locations can be found here. LRCs will be open until 11.45am on Friday 20 December.

Return to College for Spring Term 2025

College will reopen for in-person lessons as usual at 9am on Monday 6 January.

If you require support for your young person during the forthcoming break, please refer to the support information on our website for helpful contact details and resources.

Wishing you and your family a happy and healthy festive season and all the best for the new year.

Jade Otty
Deputy Chief Executive
