Dear Parent/Guardian,
We hope that your young person has enjoyed their College induction.
At Exeter College we know that keeping parents and guardians informed about their young person's progress is key to ensuring that they thrive and achieve. This email is therefore to tell you about our Parent Portal and our online Meet the Tutor event and to share a welcome from our Principal and CEO, John Laramy CBE. |

Parent Portal Registration
We will soon be sending out a registration letter to parents of new students that will provide a personalised access code so that you can register for our Parent Portal.* Please note, if you are a parent of a second year who is already registered for Parent Portal access, those login details will remain live for this year and you will not receive a new registration letter.
Our Parent Portal is our one-stop place for information about your young person's progress. Once registered, you will be able to see what course(s) your young person is enrolled on, along with attendance data, timetables, progress reports and tutor contact information. In the meantime, if you wish to see information such as timetables and attendance to support your young person, you can ask them to log in and show you their 'My eILP' via the Student Hub homepage. There are also some key contacts shown at the end of this email: please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any concerns about your young person.
We plan to have sent out all Parent Portal registration codes by the week commencing 23rd September, so there is no need to contact us until then if you have not yet received your letter. We hope that you find the Parent Portal a useful and convenient way of accessing information about your young person’s progress throughout the year and hope you can join us for our Meet the Tutor event.

Yours sincerely, Jade Otty Vice Principal
*The registration letter will arrive at the main address registered for each learner for all new learners and any learners who do not already have a parent registered on our Parent Portal. If you live at a different address to the one registered as the main address of the young person, you can still arrange access so long as your young person has registered you as one of their two registered parents/guardians. You can either sign up for access to the parent portal via the same letter and registration code, if you are able to access that, or you can contact us at ParentPortal@exe-coll.ac.uk to ask us to set up access for you if this is not possible. Please note that this may take several days for us to process as we are obliged to carry out identity/data checks.
