Reading al fresco returns!

A series of nature-themed Shared Reading sessions in Teddington Library’s green and peaceful garden throughout the warmer months.

In these special summer sessions, enjoy the fresh air and conversation as we read an extract from a great book, and a poem aloud, stopping to talk about what we have read. There is no expectation that participants read aloud or speak – it’s fine to just drop in to listen. Everyone is welcome. Biscuits and cold drinks are provided.

Planned maintenance work

During May, the Library Management System will undergo planned improvement and maintenance works which may result in some short-term disruption. Item reservations may take longer than normal, and some services may be unavailable for a short time. When completed this essential work will improve network response times in our libraries and deliver speedier search results from the library catalogue. More information will be displayed in your local library.
