This free presentation, led by professional librarians, will look at how to use the NHS app, how to search the internet for advice about medications, and how to keep your data safe and spot scams. Pre-school children and food allergies

Worried about food allergies? Confused and overwhelmed by conflicting information from different sources? Join us for an interactive workshop with Goldie Putrym, allergy author and founder of Allecza - The Allergy & Eczema Co.


The session will cover the latest research on allergy prevention, including breastfeeding, weaning, and beyond. You will have a chance to ask questions and will leave with practical tips on identifying and managing allergies.


These sessions take place after our free Baby Rhyme Time sessions, so why not come along at 10.00am to enjoy songs and rhymes with your little one beforehand!

In celebration of Cover Story, Richmond Libraries’ awesome annual pick of the best teen reads for 11- to 14-year-olds, author Nathanael Lessore will be talking about his latest books, Steady for This and King of Nothing.


Nathanael’s hilarious, unique, and engaging writing has earned him nominations for the Spark! Book Awards and the Yoto Carnegie Medal for Writing. We can’t wait for his visit to Richmond!

Teddington Library Community Garden needs you!

Do you have a passion for gardening or want to learn more? Would you like to be part of a team of friendly and experienced gardening volunteers? Then please register your interest and become a volunteer. Whether you are a novice or an expert, we would love to hear from you.


Efforts from staff and volunteers are currently underway to transform Teddington Library's Garden into a welcoming and functional community space, but more helping hands are needed to help with planting and garden maintenance this growing season!


By volunteering on this project, you will be supporting our efforts to turn the garden into a pollinator-friendly space that benefits both humans and wildlife.

Volunteers with any level of gardening experience are welcome, and all tools will be provided.

Baby Rhyme Time & Story Time

Each library holds a weekly story time for under 6s. These sessions are free and booking is not required.


Libraries, with the exception of Kew Library, also hold free Baby Rhyme Time sessions for very young children accompanied by adults. Come join in the fun with songs, rhymes, and stories - all are welcome.
