Business Hub work experience initiative - volunteers needed
| Harborough District Council, along with local business volunteers, is organising a Work Experience programme at Harborough Innovation Centre, from 1st to 5th July 2024.
- The Business Hub aims to provide work experience to 12 students from Welland Park Academy, using a spacious meeting room at the Harborough Innovation Centre.
- The objective is to create a comprehensive schedule for the week, allowing students to engage with various local business owners and employers, enhancing workplace skills and professional behaviours.
- This initiative serves a dual purpose: offering valuable work experience to students and providing smaller employers with an opportunity to participate, addressing space constraints and health and safety considerations.
- Enthusiastic volunteers from the local business community are sought to mentor and guide students during their work experience, contributing to both the students' development and the local workforce's growth.
- Schools seek work experience opportunities within workplaces. If you can provide such opportunities, please get in touch.
