Christmas concerts!

Patch Ukulele Band and Teddington Ukulele Players bring their heart warming music to libraries. Sing, dance, bring family and friends and get the season’s celebrations started with joyful tunes that will make everyone smile.

Continue the fun with ukuleles in libraries - thanks to the London Ukulele Project, ukuleles can be borrowed with your library card, just like a book!

Using your phone or tablet for radio and podcasts opens up endless listening possibilities. From BBC Sounds to Spotify there are shows to suit every taste.


In this session for beginners, we’ll cover the basics of how to access radio online and how to find and listen to podcasts. Bring along your own device and we can help you get set up.

This session includes mince pies and a hot drink.

Boatmen and the Thames’ foreshore

Explore the cultural history of the tidal shore from ancient times to now with Master Boatbuilder Mark Edwards MBE. We'll be looking at the development of the 'shore'; its embankment, Richmond bridge and the various iconic river industries including boatmen and watermen.


This talk is part of the Reminiscence Café series of events.  A free event - no booking required.
