Hello

As an introduction to the first two articles below, we wanted to share a peek into how we work here at Scomis. An activity that we have increased and refined over the last few months is the scope and our use of customer research. This customer research has given us precious insights. And these insights have already helped us improve our training provision. Now we're extending our customer research panel much wider than  training, to cover all aspects of our service provision to you, to the education sector and to future customers. We sincerely hope you take a moment to sign up to our extended Customer Panel and help us develop our ever-improving service to you.

Join Scomis' influential Customer Panel

Last week in our latest monthly Training email we shared the story of how our Customer Training Panel came together in February, and the productive outputs our panel's insights have lead us to. We have made substantial improvements to our Training offering and communications as a result of working with our Customer Training Panel.

Read about the Customer Training Panel's first six months' achievements

This experience has inspired us to increase our Customer Panel, beyond Training, with the goal of improving Scomis’ products and services across the board.

We're now recruiting our new Customer Panel - join us!

We're looking to you (yes, you!) to join our Customer Panel and help shape the future of our products and services. We're looking for help from people in all job roles, whether you're a current Scomis customer or not. We hope to hear from administrators, teachers, business managers, trust CEOs and COOs, head teachers. In short, everyone and anyone in educational establishments. Fill in this form to find out more and to become a Scomis Customer Panellist.

Will it be time-consuming? No!

We're respectful of everyone's time and that availability fluctuates. An example of this is in the form, where we ask you what level of contribution you feel able to make. You can choose occasional quick-vote polls, 1:1 online Q&As, and a few options in between. And you can always choose whether to take part in a particular piece of research, and still contribute to a later opportunity. We aim for a wholly positive experience for everyone.

Equality, diversity, inclusion

We welcome, aim for, and greatly value equality, diversity and inclusion. We would like to assemble a Customer Panel representing a wide range of perspectives, backgrounds and experiences. Your participation will help us create a community dedicated to improving our products and services for everyone in education.

Yes please! Sign me up to the Customer Panel

Is this newsletter the best it could be?

We are seeking guidance on how to make our newsletters (like this one) as helpful and engaging as possible. We're asking you to take a moment to give some feedback on our newsletters. We will use your inputs to ensure we provide the information and content most useful for you. This questionnaire should take five minutes and will mean we can keep on improving these newsletters for you.

Quick top tip

A Microsoft Teams tip for you.

Did you know that Ctrl + F, which is the keyboard shortcut to open a 'find' box so you can search for a character, word, or phrase in your current document or web page, works on Teams too?

If you're in Teams in a Chat (individual or group), you can type Ctrl + F to search. This utilises the search bar at the top of Teams to search in the chat. Results will then be brought up in the side bar (where your activity feed normally appears).

The search bar at the top of Teams is a really useful function and there's a lot you can do with it. Have a play with Ctrl + F next time you're on Teams.
