NOVA T6 training - new dates added

Hot on the heels of a sold out NOVA T6 four-dayer, we've added more dates to our spring term training schedule for this popular course. This week we added another eight spaces, two of which have already been booked.

Scomis customers are at the forefront of SIMS Next Gen

We continue rolling out SIMS Next Gen to primary schools nationwide. The process is smooth, tried and tested. If you're ready to see what Next Gen can do to improve the speed and ease of tasks such as Taking Register, get in touch and we'll set you up.

One question that pops up frequently is this: "If we try Take Register in Next Gen and don't like it, can we go back to SIMS 7?" To which the answer is: "Any time! You're not losing SIMS 7 functionality; you're just gaining SIMS Next Gen functionality. You can switch between the two whenever you wish. They work in harmony, your data syncs between the two, and you needn't stop using one to use the other."

SIMS Next Gen on MyScomis

There is a range of useful articles about SIMS Next Gen, which you can find on MyScomis, our knowledge bank available to every Scomis customer.

Not familiar with logging in to MyScomis? 

You'll always find the MyScomis button at the top right of the Scomis home page. Click on it, and then through to 'MyScomis Self-service Portal.' Type in your work email address as your username. And if you can’t find your password, just click the 'reset my password' link and we will send you a reset email. Remember! You can always call us on 01392 385300 or email for help.


MyScomis #TopTip

You can find knowledge articles on specific items by typing double quotation marks either side of your search term. Give it a go! Type "Next Gen" (include the quotation marks) into the MyScomis search box to find all articles on Sims Next Gen.


DfE energy efficiency guidance

This week, the Department for Education released guidance to support building users, premises managers and senior leadership teams to reduce energy, costs and carbon use. We know this is topmost in everyone’s minds, so please take a look and see if there are additional actions and help that your establishment can take to alleviate this particularly challenging crunch.

Small but mighty improvements - passwords

Now live! We have added the ability to show the passwords that you have typed in so that customers with dyspraxia, dyslexia and related conditions have an easier time with Scomis' technology. 


Last conference of 2022 ✅
