The University typically receives a high number of applications to its programmes in Computing. To ensure we treat all applications fairly, we may put students' applications on hold until after the 26 January UCAS deadline before making a final decision. This ensures that all applications received before the UCAS deadline are given equal consideration. Applicants from widening participation backgrounds will continue to be prioritised through our
Access to Leeds scheme and Low Participation Neighbourhood discounted offers Students applying to these courses are advised it is unlikely we will be able to accept applications for deferred entry this year. Where deferred entry applications are not being accepted, this is stated on our Coursefinder pages.
Applicants who we anticipate may be waiting a little longer to hear from us will be notified by the University to explain the process and the estimated duration of decision making.
