Progress reports available this Friday

Dear Parent/Guardian,

The first student progress report of the academic year will be available for you to access via the Parent Portal this Friday 23 October. The progress report will reflect on your young person's attendance, effort and the grade/level they are working at for this half term.

Please make sure that you have registered for the Parent Portal to enable you to access your young person's progress report.

How to register for the Parent Portal

  1. Please go to the Parent Portal Login page.
  2. You will then need to enter your email address and contact details. You MUST use the email address that your young person has for you on their MyeILP site.
  3. Once you have created your account, you will then need to ‘link’ your young person(s) to the account. To do this you will need:
  • Their date of birth
  • Their Exeter College student reference number starting 9900 (this is on their Exeter College ID card).
  • The email address on which you have received this email. A ‘one-off’ code will be sent to this email address to enable you to verify linking the young person to your account.

If you have an account for your young person from last year, you do not need to do anything!

Key dates for next half term

Please find key dates for the next half term in the below linked pdf document. We hope this is a useful reference for you. Dates that fall immediately after the half term break are here for ease:

  • Monday 2 Nov - Return to College for all learners

  • Tuesday 3 Nov and Thursday 12 Nov - Year 2 Online Parent and Guardian Evenings

We will contact you ahead of the parent/guardian evenings with details about how to book your online appointment with your young person’s tutor and subject lecturers.

Finally, your young person’s first port of call for help of any kind at College is their Personal Tutor. You can get in touch with them by using the contact details found on the Parent Portal.

With best wishes for the half term break.
