Dear Parent/Guardian,
We hope that your young person has enjoyed their start to the new College year, and that our welcome events have helped them to make new friends and settle in.
At Exeter College we know that keeping parents and guardians updated is an important way that we can ensure our learners thrive and succeed with us. I am contacting you to give you important information about how to access our 'Parent Portal'.
Once you have registered using the instructions outlined below, our Parent Portal will give you access to a range of information about your young person's programme with us including: - Their Progress Reports
- Their attendance
- Their timetable
- Their Personal Tutor's email address
Once registered, you will be able to log in throughout the duration of their study with us simply by using your email address and password.
How to register - Please use the link to access our Parent Portal login page or simply type in your browser: http://parent.exe-coll.ac.uk/login.php
- You will then need to enter your email address and contact details. You MUST use the same email address that you received this message on.
- Once you have created your account, you will then need to ‘link’ your young person(s) to the account. To do this you will need:
Their date of birth. Their Exeter College student reference number starting 9900 (this is on their Exeter College ID card).
The email address you received this message on. This is the same email address that is registered as a verified email address on your young person’s eILP. A one-off verification code will be sent to this email address. You will need to enter this code to confirm that you are linking the correct young person to your account.
If you have an account for your young person from last year, you do not need to do anything!
We hope that you find the Parent Portal a useful and convenient way of accessing information about your young person's progress throughout the year. We also have parent/guardian evenings to give you an opportunity to discuss the progress of your young person with their teachers. These events will be held online using specialist parent liaison event software, 'School Cloud'. We will be in touch before each event to release appointments to you and give you instructions for how to log in.
With very best wishes, Billie Stokes
Assistant Principal, Exeter College
