Welcome to Exeter College!😊

Dear Parent/Guardian,

We are looking forward to welcoming your young person to Exeter College this week.

Please see below for information regarding the first days at College that has been sent to your young person's registered email address today.

Hello.🙋

We cannot wait to welcome you to Exeter College this week!

Thank you for choosing Exeter College. We are really excited to see you for your Welcome Day(s) and to help you get settled in.

During your enrolment, you should have been told where to go for your first day. For most learners, you will have two Welcome Days on Thursday 3 September and Friday 4 September. Some courses have just one Welcome Day, so please check the Getting Started Guide you received at enrolment. Your specific Welcome Day date/s and time/s are on page 3 of your Guide.

We hope you enjoy your first few days and that they help you feel settled, confident and ready for the year ahead. There will be lots of opportunities to meet your tutor, get to know other learners, find your way around and find out more about life at College.

If you need support with anything during your time at College, your personal tutor is a great first person to speak to. They are there to help you settle in, manage your workload, think about your next steps and make the most of your time at College.

If you studied with us last year and are progressing to a new course, you should know where to go and what time to arrive following your tutor phone call on 20 August and/or enrolment. If you missed the call or are not sure of your exact room, please do not worry. Simply head to the location of your new course at the time shown below and there will be plenty of staff around to help you find your tutor base room. 👇

You will visit the EXtra Welcome Fair with your tutor during your Welcome Day(s) to discover the clubs, societies and activities available this year. Find something you like? Sign up and get involved!

Our first tutorial theme is Engage, so this is a great way to start getting involved in college life. And do not forget to enjoy the snacks and freebies!🍿

See you there! 🎉
