Share your feedback on our community mental health services

If you used one of our community mental health services during April or May 2026, you may be selected to take part. The survey gives people an opportunity to share their experiences of care and tell us what is working well and where we can improve.

Planned changes to our Mental Health Crisis Line this autumn

From 1 October 2026, our 0800 Mental Health Crisis Line will transition to NHS 111, making it easier for people of all ages to access urgent mental health support through a single, nationally recognised number.

New Maple Ward opens to boost inpatient care in South West London

We are delighted to announce the opening of a new ward at Springfield University Hospital, providing 18 short-stay beds in our acute and urgent care services. This will support more people to access specialist mental health care closer to home.

New Mental Health Emergency Department announced for South West London 

In future, people experiencing a mental health crisis in Emergency Departments in South West London will receive faster, more appropriate care thanks to a £1.9m investment into Mental Health Emergency Departments.

£110m redevelopment of Tolworth Hospital continues at pace 

This summer marks a major milestone for Tolworth Hospital with one year of our build completed and one more to go as we look ahead to the opening of the new Tala Building.

South London NHS Mental Health Crisis Text Service launches

A brand new 24/7 mental health crisis messaging service, delivered by Everyturn Mental Health, has launched across south London for WhatsApp users. 

Celebrating Pride Month with our community 

Back in June, we celebrated Pride Month by supporting local Pride events, promoting LGBTQIA+ inclusion, and highlighting the importance of equality, visibility and allyship across our Trust and communities.

Welcoming Choices College 

We are delighted to welcome Choices College to the Trust, expanding opportunities for young people with learning difficulties, disabilities and autism to gain skills, confidence and pathways into employment and independence.

Changes across Barnes Hospital, Maddison Centre and Livingston House

Our estate in Richmond will continue to transition over the coming year - from autumn 2027 the borough's services will be delivered from Barnes Hospital, Livingston House and Richmond Royal Wellbeing Centre. We will also be transitioning away from the Maddison Centre.

Community comes together to mark progress on Barnes Hospital redevelopment
