We are delighted that you have chosen to apply to Exeter College.
If you haven't yet had the chance to attend an Open Event at Exeter College, or you'd like to return to ask more questions and view the latest facilities, join us on Wednesday 22 April 2026, 4 – 7pm, to explore and speak with current students and staff about college life.
All our city centre sites will be open, including our new Centre for Law and Social Sciences, which opened in December 2025. Our Haven Banks Outdoor Education Centre (Exeter Quayside), Construction Centre (Sowton) and Technology Centre (Monkerton) will also be open on the evening. |

Apprenticeship Expos | |
Are you hoping to progress in a career in Hospitality, Construction or Engineering? Then we have the perfect events for you! Our Expos are a great opportunity to connect with employers and professionals from your chosen sector, and are a great place to start conversations about apprenticeships, as well as part-time work, full-time careers, and work experience. No need to book. Please note the Expos happen in school hours. |

At Exeter College, as well as your course and your tutorial time, you will also have the chance to join in a wide range of extra-curricular activities and other opportunities that will help you to enhance your interests and talents, make new friends, develop new skills, and have fun along the way. We call this element of your college programme EXtra.

EXtra activities all year long | |
We offer a variety of clubs and societies coordinated by staff and students, covering sports and creative hobbies, to digital skills and feel-good inspired activities. The College also works with many fantastic external agencies, including Learn2Live (the road safety education specialists) and the charity Jay's Aim (who deliver CPR training), to bring students essential coaching and training. There are also lots of pop-up activities led by our friendly EXtra Team (from arts and crafts for wellbeing, to full-on celebration events to mark the end of term or a national day of awareness, and much more!).

Have your voice heard at College
| To ensure your voice is heard and your college experience is in line with what our students want and need, we have a Learner Voice forum made up of Tutor Reps and a Learner Leadership Team who are active in gathering and delivering feedback to make change happen for our students! |

Reach Academy Deadline 31 March
| We are proud to offer a wide range of aspirational academies for students who wish to excel and develop in specific areas, and to follow their passion alongside their studies. For those individuals applying for the Reach Academy, please ensure you apply ahead of the deadline of 31 March 2026. More info below. |

Financial Support |
You can now apply for the Bursary via our website. Please apply promptly to ensure you have financial support in place for when you start in September. We recommend applying for bursary, even if we are your second choice sixth form, to avoid any delays to you receiving support. |

Travel Scheme |
All full time 16-18 learners who live more than 3 miles from College can access subsidised travel passes regardless of household income. There is also additional support for households with an income below £50k/year. Eligible applicants will be contacted in the summer term with further information. |

Exeter College Enrolment
| College enrolment takes place between Friday 21 August and Friday 28 August. Please do not book your holidays during this period as you must attend your enrolment appointment in person to secure your course place. Enrolment invites will be sent in late July. |
