Dear Parent/Guardian,

The latest student progress report for your young person will be available to view via the Parent Portal from Friday 13 March.

This report provides an update on your young person’s attendance, effort and the grade/level they are currently working at for this half term, helping you to track their progress and engagement with their studies.

Progress reports are particularly important at this point in the academic year, as they provide a clear indication of how students are progressing ahead of final assessments and exams.

Please ensure that you have registered for the Parent Portal so that you can access your young person’s report when it becomes available. If you have not yet set up your account, we encourage you to do so as soon as possible.

How to register for the Parent Portal

  1. Please go to the Parent Portal Login page.
  2. You will then need to enter your email address and contact details. You MUST use the email address that your young person has for you on their MyeILP site.
  3. Once you have created your account, you will then need to ‘link’ your young person(s) to the account. To do this you will need:
  • Their date of birth
  • Their Exeter College student reference number starting 9900 (this is on their Exeter College ID card).
  • Your verified email address on your young person’s MyeILP. A ‘one-off’ code will be sent to this email address to enable you to verify linking the young person to your account.

First year virtual parent and guardian evenings

As many of you will be aware from your recent email, the first year parent and guardian evenings will take place online Thursday 26 March and Wednesday 1 April. An email with booking details will be sent to you next Tuesday 17 March.

You can also get in touch with your young person’s tutor at any point in the year by using the contact details found on the Parent Portal.

With best wishes.

Assistant Principal
