Rent and service charge changes

We work hard to keep your payments affordable, while maintaining services. We review rent and service charges every year, following the government’s rent standard. This month you will have received a letter with your new rent and any service charges from April 2026 and any next steps you need to take. If you have any other questions, or are worried about paying, please visit our contact us page.

Well-maintained homes:
faster repairs and our Repairs Customer Promise

Our Newbury & Reading team's working hard to complete repairs more quickly. In December we carried out 65.9% of non-emergency repairs within 20 working days (up nearly 17 percentage points from last May). We are also doing more emergency repairs more quickly: in December, 96.9% of these were carried out within 24 hours. We know how important it is to have timely repairs completed, so we've recruited an extra 7 trades to help us improve this even more.

Our repairs services cover every scenario for fixing, maintaining and improving your home – from emergency appointments to essential annual safety checks, as well as refits. Read more about our commitment to you when it comes to repairs.
