Don’t miss your last chance this academic year to discover Exeter College. Join us at our next Open Event on Wednesday 22 April 2026, 4–7pm, to explore our facilities and speak with current students and staff about college life. All our city centre sites will be open, including our new Centre for Law and Social Sciences, which opened in December 2025. Our Haven Banks Outdoor Education Centre (Exeter Quayside), Construction Centre (Sowton) and Technology Centre (Monkerton) will also be open on the evening.

Apprenticeship Applications

It was great to see many of you at the Apprenticeship Expo last week. Attendees met with over 50 employers and apprentices to discover local opportunities and find out about the benefits of employment with training. Hospitality and Catering Expo 30 March

Are you hoping to progress to a career in the hospitality and catering industry? You are invited to join us for the Hospitality and Catering Expo on Monday 30 March, 2 - 5pm, Laurence Building (at our Hele Road site). The event is a great opportunity to connect with employers and professionals from the sector, and is a great place to start conversations about part-time work, full-time careers, work experience, and apprenticeships. No need to book.

We are proud to offer a wide range of aspirational academies for students who wish to excel and develop in specific areas, and to follow their passion alongside their studies. For those individuals applying for the Reach Academy, please ensure you apply ahead of the deadline of 31 March 2026. More info below.

Financial Support

You can now apply for the Bursary via our website. Please apply promptly to ensure you have financial support in place for when you start in September. We recommend applying for bursary, even if we are your second choice sixth form, to avoid any delays to you receiving support.

Travel Scheme

All full time 16-18 learners who live more than 3 miles from College can access subsidised travel passes regardless of household income. There is also additional support for households with an income below Β£50k/year. Eligible applicants will be contacted in the summer term with further information.

Exeter College Enrolment

College enrolment takes place between Friday 21 August and just before the first day of term (3 September 2026). Please do not book your holidays during this period as you must attend your enrolment appointment in person to secure your course place. Enrolment invites will be sent in late July.

Student success celebrated at Exeter College Awards

Every year the College celebrates standout learners from a range of programmes and disciplines at its annual Student Awards Ceremony. This year's event was held at Sandy Park and saw 17 learners receive awards for their achievements and contributions to college life.

Amazon partnership for T Level learners

Around 30 Exeter College T Level students will soon have an exciting opportunity to work with Amazon as part of their course. Learners on our Digital Software Development and Digital Support and Security T Level programmes will get hands‑on experience using the world-leading Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure, helping them build practical skills and prepare for their future careers.
