Living folklore of the ‘Square Mile’

Discover the rich heritage of the City of London’s ‘Square Mile’ - a world of colourful pageantry and public spectacle, boundary rituals, ancient churches, and unique civic customs.

Try something new with this enjoyable and supportive six-week ukulele course for adults. Whether you're a complete beginner or want to refresh your skills, an experienced teacher will guide you through the basics in a relaxed, friendly setting.

This February see the library from an exciting new angle with a free taster yoga class. With a focus on deep breathing, mindfulness and slow stretches, these restorative sessions are suitable for all abilities.


Yoga mats, blocks, and straps are all provided but please wear comfortable clothing.
