Apprenticeship Applications | |
Applied for an Apprenticeship and don’t yet have an employer? Contact the Apprenticeship Team for support. They can suggest employers in your area of interest, help with your CV and application, interview preparation, and more.
If you would like further support in the new year head to the Apprenticeship Expo taking place on Thursday 12 February 2026, College Sports Hall, off Queen Street, 1 - 5pm. You can meet with over 50 employers and apprentices to discover local job opportunities and find out about the benefits of employment with training. |

Upcoming Academy Deadlines
| We are proud to offer a wide range of aspirational academies for students who wish to excel and develop in specific areas, and to follow their passion alongside their studies. Some Academy applications will close early in the new year. Sports Academy closes 13 February 2026 (trials start at the end of March) and Reach Academy closes 31 March 2026 - more detail via the below links. |

Financial Support
| Bursary applications open in February 2026. Applications can be made via our website. Please apply promptly to ensure you have financial support in place for when you start in September. We recommend applying for bursary, even if we are your second choice sixth form, to avoid any delays to you receiving support. |

Travel Scheme
| All full time 16-18 learners who live more than 3 miles from College can access subsidised travel passes regardless of household income. There is also additional support for households with an income below £50k/year. Eligible applicants will be contacted in the summer term with further information. |

Exeter College Enrolment
| College enrolment takes place between Friday 21 August and the first week of September 2026. Please do not book your holidays during this period as you must attend your enrolment appointment in person to secure your course place. |

Carols in the Cathedral |
Students and staff performed to a crowded Exeter Cathedral for the annual Festival of Carols in early December. The charitable event helped to raise over £530 for the College's nominated charity of the year, the RD&E's Super Theatre Appeal. |

Hospital ward for students |
Exeter College has secured £1.3m in funding to create a new, world-class healthcare training facility, providing opportunities for hundreds of learners to develop vital skills in nursing and healthcare professions. Completion of the project is expected to be March 2026. |
