Many of you will now be planning festive celebrations, and we have the perfect venue for a seasonal gathering! The College's student-run @thirty-four restaurant, located at our Hele Road site in Exeter city centre, is celebrating after achieving a Gold in the restaurant category of the Food Drink Devon Awards 2025. The restaurant will remain open until mid-December and they are taking bookings now.

Toby Hemming attended Exeter College between 1992-1994 and studied A Levels in Communications, Visual Design, and Sociology. Toby is now Managing Director for the Asia Pacific branch of the global advertising consultancy, Little Black Book, and has spent much of his career championing emerging marketing and communications platforms. He spoke at a recent publishing conference about adapting revenue streams and approaches in a new media landscape.

Shaun Rowcliffe completed an Engineering Apprenticeship through Exeter College and is now the general manager of the Exeter franchise of the precision parts manufacturer, Isembard. Shaun opened the franchise earlier this year. Exeter is the third UK site for Isembard and the company has already grabbed the attention of local MPs and industry professionals. Local MP Richard Foord visited the factory in October and commented that the franchise is "Impressive in its ambition to put Britain back on the global manufacturing stage."

Exeter College alumna, Caroline Rushingwa, studied the International Baccalaureate at Exeter College and has since forged a career inspired by her passion for international relations and politics. Caroline recently celebrated her appointment to the BUILA Executive Committee, a body that represents over 145 UK-based universities and supports their collaboration with partners across borders.
