Engineering Apprenticeships Expo 30 April |

For those considering a career in engineering, the Engineering Expo returns on 30 April, 2.30 - 6pm, Technology Centre, College Way. Join the event to meet employers and discover apprenticeship opportunities in areas of engineering and automotive. Open to all and no need to register.

At Exeter College, as well as your course and your tutorial time, you will also have the chance to join in a wide range of extra-curricular activities and other opportunities that will help you to enhance your interests and talents, make new friends, develop new skills, and have fun along the way. We call this element of your college programme EXtra.

EXtra activities all year long |
We offer a variety of clubs and societies coordinated by staff and students, covering sports and creative hobbies, to digital skills and feel-good inspired activities. The College also works with many fantastic external agencies, including Learn2Live (the road safety education specialists) and the charity Jay's Aim (who deliver CPR training), to bring students essential coaching and training. There are also lots of pop-up activities led by our friendly EXtra Team (from arts and crafts for wellbeing, to full-on celebration events to mark the end of term or a national day of awareness, and much more!).

Have your voice heard at College |
To ensure your voice is heard and your college experience is in line with what our students want and need, we have a Learner Voice forum made up of Tutor Reps and a Learner Leadership Team who are active in gathering and delivering feedback to make change happen for our students! |

Financial Support |
Bursary applications open in May 2025. Applications can be made via our website. Please apply promptly to ensure you have financial support in place for when you start in September. We recommend applying for bursary, even if we are your second choice sixth form, to avoid any delays to you receiving support. |

Travel Scheme |
All full time 16-18 learners who live more than 3 miles from College can access subsidised travel passes regardless of household income. There is also additional support for households with an income below £50k/year. Eligible applicants will be contacted in the summer term with further information. |

College enrolment takes place between 22 August and 1 September 2025. Please do not book your holidays during this period as you must attend your enrolment appointment in person to secure your course place. Look out for your appointment letter between the end of July to early August! |

Oxbridge success for College students |
In February this year 16 delighted students received offers to study at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge (some of whom are pictured). A total of 60 learners applied to Oxbridge in October 2024, with 36 progressing to interview and 16 students ultimately being offered a place - a success rate of 27% of applicants converting to offers. |
