January's Club Journal out now.

Plus: February issue out next week

The January edition of Club Journal is out now and it's a new, exciting era as the magazine is now available as a digital publication for the first time in its 131-year history as the magazine of record of the CIU. 

The brand-new expanded Club Journal is available to download and read from the Union’s official website www.clubjournal.co.uk at the beginning of each month, making it even more accessible to club officials and members.

 
The monthly publication is just one strand of the Union’s online offering, with the CIU’s official Facebook page and regular e-bulletins which can be sent directly to your email inbox.

We look ahead to the 2025 Annual Meeting on pages 11-13, which take place on Saturday, 

April 26 in Blackpool with the CIU Beer & Trades Exhibition staged on the day before – Friday, April 25.

Alongside all the activities and events from across clubland, we also bring news of the Union clubs who were recognised at the 2024 Club Awards held in Leicester.

It was another great showing for CIU clubs from across the country, not least the joint winners of the CIU Club of the Year category – Broseley Social Club in Shropshire and Lindley Liberal Club in Huddersfield, Yorkshire.  This issue has a full report of the Club Awards on pages 14-19.
