Club Journal - out now!

In this issue we announce the latest group of candidates to pass the Union’s Award in Club Management (ACM). Congratulations to them all. This month’s ‘Club of the Month’ is Stopsley WMC in Luton. The club began life as a simple wooden hut in 1946 but is now a huge, modern club with first-class facilities and an array of activities and entertainment for members to enjoy throughout the year. 
We also bring details of the latest CIU National Prize Draw, which takes place on August 31. 
In our ‘HQ’ section on page 18, our General Secretary, Kenneth D Green CMD ACM, urges clubs to get in touch with their local MPs following the UK's General Election.
