RFU increases sanctions

Almost 50% of match officials surveyed by the RFU reported experiencing abuse, which has led to stricter punishments for offenders, including suspensions of up to four weeks, depending on the severity of the initial charge.

R&A CEO to step down this year

Bowls shows continued growth 

The Bowls England board has announced the recommendations for changes to the programme from 2025. Last year saw the number of affiliated bowlers increase by 1.4%, the second consecutive year of growth.
