Charlie McNamara studied the International Baccalaureate at Exeter College. Inspired by a Reach Academy lecture, she set her sights on progressing to Harvard University and, with support from the Academy Co-ordinator, Martin Gilbert, and further to a rigorous selection process, was offered a place at the world-famous university. Charlie is now studying Liberal Arts at Harvard and is making the most of all the opportunities and avenues this wide-ranging humanities programme offers.
