Raffle tickets on sale 

Last month saw tickets for the CIU National Raffle go on sale at £2 each.The winning tickets will be drawn and confirmed later this month.

The CIU National Raffle gives Union members the opportunity to win significant cash prizes. 

In this month's Club Journal you will find a Q&A on all things related to the Raffle - from how to buy tickets to claiming your winnings.

Also with your copy of October's Club Journal is a poster to promote this to your members.

2024 calendars now available

The CIU calendar for 2024 is now available to order. The minimum order per club is 10 calendars priced at £3.00 (inc VAT) providing excellent value for money. Please

complete and return the form on the CIU website to Head Office no later than 20 October, 2023 to allow us to dispatch your order before the New Year. 

ACM Qualification - Update

If you have a minimum of 10 participants

from your Club -  or a combination from

Clubs in your surrounding area - the

ACM course will come to you! The three

self-contained units will be delivered by Union lecturers over three Saturdays of your choice at your Club.

Racing night a success

The Dransfields CIU Greyhounds Racenight took place at Sheffield's Owlerton Stadium on Tuesday, September 12.

The Dransfields CIU Charity Raceday is being staged at Wetherby Racecourse on Saturday, November 18 with over 1,000 club men and women making the trip to the venue for a feast of jump racing and fine Yorkshire hospitality. 

Union members can take advantage of a special package for £16 (plus 50p booking fee) which includes: bespoke Paddock admission badge for entry to the racecourse, Grandstand and exclusive CIU Paddock Marquee; an Official Race Programme (Worth £2.50) and Pie & Peas Voucher (Worth £6.95)
