Sign up for our teachers and advisors' CPD webinars

Our programme of free after-school webinars draws to a close for this academic year with the following sessions:

Clearing and Adjustment at Leeds, Tuesday 10 July, 4:00pm - 4:30pm.
Whether your students have unmet offers or have done better than expected, there are many options available to them after receiving their grades. This session explores how each process works at Leeds, how many students we take through these routes each year and how you can help your students - on results day - secure their best possible university option.

Developing research and study skills: the Leeds support programme, Tuesday 17 July 4:00pm - 4:30pm.  This session provides an introduction to the research and study skills workshops which we deliver in schools for students undertaking the EPQ, Pre-U and IB Extended Essay.  We will cover the support offered to supervisors and discuss how your students can use this qualification in their applications, personal statements and interviews.

There will be a live Q&A session after each webinar so you can put questions of your own to the panelists.  All you need is a computer with internet access to take part.

Pathways to Law

Pathways to Law is a widening access initiative designed to inspire and support Year 12 and Year 13 students who are interested in a legal career.  The scheme offers young learners an insight into studying law at university, experience working in a law firm and provides networking opportunities with qualified solicitors and barristers. Students apply for the scheme at the start of Year 12 and participate in a range of events and activities over the next two years, graduating from the programme with a reduced offer to study law at the University of Leeds.

Our next cohort of Year 12 students will be recruited after GCSE results are published in August. To find out how your students can apply, please visit the website.
