As part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU), essential works will take place in May and June, with temporary changes to weekday and weekend rail services between Huddersfield and Leeds. Additionally, no train services will run through Huddersfield on weekends during April.

We are sharing this update to give you advance notice of the upcoming work and to explain the measures being taken to minimise disruption and keep customers on the move. We understand that extended railway closures are never convenient, and we thank the community for their patience and support as these important upgrades are carried out.

We would be grateful for your support in sharing this information through your local communication channels.
